Role Overview

K4 Analytics is looking for a hands-on Finance professional to own and manage the company’s finance function. This is a standalone role responsible for day-to-day finance, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, subscription and licence administration, and month/quarter-end reporting. You will ensure that financial and licensing processes run smoothly across customers, partners, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) end-to-end
• Manage vendor payments and maintain accurate vendor records
• Manage expenses, payments, and correct the accounting system
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) end-to-end
• Prepare and issue customer invoices
• Track incoming payments and follow up on overdue invoices
• Maintain accurate billing records and customer accounts

Licence Subscriptions

• Manage software licence subscription – activations, renewal schedules etc
• Maintain accurate records of customer subscriptions and agreements

Financial Reporting & Close Processes

• Support month-end and quarter-end close
• Prepare financial reports and summaries
• Maintain accurate and financial documentation
• Assist with revenue tracking and financial performance monitoring

Finance Operations & Compliance

• Follow and help improve financial and operational procedures
• Support external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors as required
• Provide financial data and operational insights
• General company tasks – purchasing, etc.

Skills & Experience

Required

• 3–6 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or finance operations
• Experience managing AP, AR, invoicing, and financial administration
• Proficiency with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar
• Ability to manage month-end and quarter-end processes
• Strong Excel skills with attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Comfortable working autonomously
• Good communication skills for working with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Experience in a SaaS or technology company
• Experience managing software licenses/subscriptions
• Familiarity with subscription revenue recognition
