Full job description

Role Overview

The National Construction Training Campus at Mount Lucas is one of Ireland’s premier dedicated construction training facilities. This role exists to close the gap between the quality of training on offer and the level of awareness it currently commands. You will create the visibility, generate the interest, and drive the enrolments.

This is not a traditional marketing role. It is operational, output-focused, and measured on results. If you are more comfortable behind a content calendar than in a conversation about conversion rates, this is not the right fit. If you thrive on owning a pipeline from awareness through to registration, read on.

Purpose

To build sustained awareness of Mount Lucas and its training provision, generate consistent interest from the target audience, and convert that interest into confirmed learner enrolments.

Core Responsibilities

● Capture real, on-site training activity and produce regular, high-impact content that brings Mount Lucas to life across digital channels

● Actively promote upcoming programmes to maintain continuous visibility and pipeline flow

● Build and manage a consistent presence across appropriate social media platforms, with particular emphasis on channels relevant to the construction sector

● Serve as the first point of contact for inbound enquiries, ensuring all interest is progressed and routed to the right instructor or team member

● Plan and execute targeted promotional campaigns to fill upcoming programmes and address gaps in uptake

● Develop a short-form podcast or video series to increase engagement and visibility around key training topics

● Maintain a live pipeline of enquiries, tracking every prospect from first contact to registration

● Represent Mount Lucas at trade fairs, industry events, and sector gatherings to build direct awareness

● Track, analyse, and report on the performance of all activity – reach, impressions, conversion rates, and cost per enrolment

What Success Looks Like

● Measurable growth in awareness and visibility of Mount Lucas programmes

● A sustained, active pipeline of enquiries at all times

● Increased enrolment numbers across the training portfolio

● Improved conversion rates from enquiry to confirmed registration

● Higher fill rates and a reduction in unfilled course places

● Clear, data-backed reporting on what activity is driving actual enrolments

What We Need From You

Essential:

● Third-level qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline, and demonstrable experience managing social media accounts with measurable outcomes – candidates should be prepared to share examples at interview.

● Proven ability to create engaging, sector-relevant content for social media

● Strong working knowledge of social media analytics – reach, impressions, engagement, conversion rates

● Comfortable operating independently in a results-driven environment

● Confident communicator, able to handle inbound enquiries and represent the campus externally

● Organised and pipeline-focused – no lead should go cold

● Proactive, self-directed, and genuinely comfortable owning outcomes

Desirable:

● Experience in or understanding of the construction or trades sector

● Experience with paid social media advertising (Meta, LinkedIn)

● Basic video editing skills for short-form content

● Familiarity with CRM tools or pipeline management systems

Pay: From €44,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • On-site parking
